Hello from Juba. Praise God greatly! After waiting for 9 weeks for others to apply for tax exemption for the new car on my behalf, and failing three times, today as a last resort I went myself to the Deputy Finance Minister of the Government of South Sudan. I saw him quickly and he was horrified at what I told him and he said it should never have been refused. He granted tax exemption immediately and within 30 minutes I had the certificate. The car has been delayed in Mombasa but I will stay in Juba till it arrives in maybe 12 days time. Keep praying there are no further problems until it is finally in my hands and back in Maridi.
